Today's Forkardt Hardinge 5C collets are manufactured to exacting standards from special alloy steel.  Heat treated to assure accuracy and durability. Forkardt Hardinge 5C Collets offer a through-capacity up to and including 1-1/16" round, 7/8" hexagon, and 3/4" square. 5C collets include precision internal threads for positive stops. Exceptions are 1" round and over, 55/64" hexagon and over, and 23/32" square and over. If you require internal threads for these larger sizes please specify, the 5C-SC step collet will be used to complete your kit.
